So I'm back to finish up my review of Secrets Maroma resort in Riviera Maya. I'll wrap up with some info on entertainment, activities, the spa and who I think is a good fit for the resort.
The resort entertainment staff takes pride in putting on great shows. Along with celebrating various seasonal holidays the resort puts on different nightly shows for it's guests. There were various shows during my time at the resort, "Rock Vault" was a show that paid tribute to rock legends such as Bon Jovi, Pink Floyd and ACDC, there was also a "Fire Show" and a "Foam Party". And that's not all, there was plenty to keep you entertained such as a "Texas hold em Tournament", "Comedy Juggling" show and a "Moonlight Party" at the beach with bonfire, live music and more.
So what about activities? Well you definitely can't get bored. OMG there is soooo much you can do if being a beach bum is not your thing. There is something exciting for everyone to do, including yoga, Spanish lessons, wine tasting, bike tours, cooking classes, salsa lessons, beach volleyball, water aerobics, bingo and too many other activities for me to name here. You’ll just have to go see for yourself! Even those not participating directly in activities have a blast watching others have the time of their lives.
Although I did not get the chance to enjoy any of the experiences offered at the spa, The Secrets Spa by Pevonia is massive, it stretches 13,000 sq. ft. It offers numerous relaxing treatments creating a refreshing, invigorating and peaceful experience. Pamper yourself in the stunning spa surrounded by a hydrotherapy circuit, sauna and steam room. There are 19 treatment rooms where massages, body treatments and facials are preformed. There is also a full service beauty salon available for you for manicures and pedicures. The spa offers an array packages and pampering to to sooth you after a long day at the beach.
So overall this is a luxury solid 4.5 star resort. Great service, good food, clean and a fantastic beach. I would definitely return without hesitation and would recommend it for the right type of client.
